Prior to FR we were 100% paper-based – all of our requests were in a binder. All of the requests were completed in various forms of completion. Since implementing FR all of our requests are now online, all notes related to specific requests, guests, or families are online, all shift hand-off notes are online, and all data reporting is pulled from the system – everything is accessible from anywhere on or off campus. We knew we would be making an improvement moving from paper to electronic, yet the other value-adds from FR functionality are the icing on the cake. And, we’ve only scratched the surface in what it can do for us. We are delighted about what we’ve accomplished with FR through Tricia and Al’s guidance, and excited about what is yet to come!
Family Registry immediately made it so several staff members could access information at the same time. Our staff and volunteers have commented on how user friendly the system is, and every department in our House uses Family Registry, from the guest services team to our development/marketing team (typically for reporting features), to our administration team, to our leadership!
In addition to that, Al + Tricia have been so kind and patient with our staff. There has never been a time that they’ve made us feel like we’re an inconvenience for needing extra explanation or clarification on any of the features. They take their time in explaining the system to us, and it is so appreciated.
